Nice shot!

I spent my high school years (early '70s) in Greenville, SC, and my parents took me to Cashiers and Highlands quite often. I remember a golf outing there that was spectacular. There is a ton of beauty there.

In 1970, I spent a winter weekend there with a friend. We went sledding down mountain roads at midnight in 0° weather. I took some of my favorite photos of all time in the snowy woods the next day. Rime ice coated all the tree branches, and a fluffy coating of snow hung from the ice. It was as if the trees had feathers.

I spent about 12 weeks there so yes, i agree. I'll post some more another time. Thanks for looking. I met several people one morning at a farmers market in Franklin that once lived in Central Florida years ago.

Great photos!! I especially like the one through the bridge. It's a great area. My best friend lives in Brevard, NC and we both ride motorcycles. We have traveled many winding and scenic roads in that area. I never tire of it.

Thank you, Miss Stephie, appreciate you looking. The flowers were the thing i did first and they were just so different to me that i had to get some shots to show people back home. The bridge was at the edge of the property and I would sometimes go for walks with my dog down there. I finally got something that would work.
