Great shots. I have pulled quite a few calf out with baling twine when things didn't go right.

Great shots. I have witnessed some being born myself on a farm when I was younger and also at the local fair a number of times in the years. Always a nice site to see. Thanks for posting.

I love new born calves..well.not when they are all slimey but when I first started hanging out at the farm, my husband (boyrfriend back then) told me to get the jack to help deliver a calf...all I could think of was a car jack..I couldn't understand how we were going to get the calf out past the jack...it's a long story...but...I did learn alot on the farm.

They were lucky there wasn't snow and ice all over. I was raised on a farm in Mo. It always seemed to be the coldest and worst weather when they were born.

Yep I was always concerned but when they got into trouble I got warm wet and like you said felt great when we saved them.
