Need help on identifying

Your bird has a red breast as well as a red head. the House Finch and the Purple Finch look almost exactly alike and I believe this to be one or the other. Some people even call the House Finch a Purple Finch, but there really is a difference. Google Images will show you if you type in House Finch.
I think the Purple Finch has color on its back as well as head and chest. House Finch just a red breast and head.

The range on the house finch now covers the United States from coast to coast.
