Shoot that groundhog!!
Gee, what ever happened to GLOBAL WARMINING that there was so much ballyhooing about?
We had a high yesterday of -3f, going down to -25f last night. I'll be bringing in wood later today when it warms up to 0f. Those temps are not taking into account any wind-chill factor.
But the stars sure looked beautiful in the clear skies last night, and so far today - clear blue sky.

Here on the Florida Gulf coast, we are at 35°, up from a low of 29° and going way up to a predicted high of 54°.
Stay warm my friends.
Was sort o surprised to hear from a couple of relatives who live up near the northern part of the Gulf Coase of FL about the temps you mentioned.
We are looking to head that way for just a few days next week. We have a small residence down there that we want to put on the market. We don't get down that way as much as we did a few years ago. Now all we do is go down that way to make sure it's okay, and we spend our time cleaning up the yard.
Sure hope the weather clears/warms up for our trip so we have SOMETHING to look forward to.

Yeah - it isn't "Global Warming" but "Climate Change" - more extremes. More snow, more drought, extended ranges of bad weather. Here in "downeast" Maine it is mid-February and we have already had twice the average winter's snowfall. I heard one climatologist say we should call it "weather weirding"......

Our temperatures are rising - by next week we should be between 65 and 70°' each day. Last glance, we have hit 55° today - 1° higher than forecast!
I did brave the cold this morning to take a quick trip to the grocery store, upon my return I saw that I still have roses blooming and the hibiscus is flowering as well. At least it looks like we are having nice weather.

Hey, we all live where we live for a reason. I am off to an ASU baseball game in shorts and a t-shirt. What else can I say? Arizona is not big enough for all you frozen folks to move down here, so put on your big boy panties and live with it.
we are having a heat wave....it's 10 degrees now....
Took some sun rise pictures this morning. It is 46 out.
