I decided to go high-resolution again, and caught some early morning shots in the cold. No signs yet of Spring, but the wind has died down a bit, so, that is a sign of perhaps the early end of Winter. But, we'll see. I've heard that snow may fall on Saturday and Sunday, so, we'll see.

Thank you Mike :) I find that holding the camera with two hands is much more effective - especially when the subject is a dark shot - than holding the camera with one. Sometimes I have to remind myself of this truism.

Hello RLS, well, they have a pretty good crew for cleaning up snow from the area in the Grand Central Terminal region, and they did a good job of clearing away the snow. Yes, I agree, it is surprising in a way, but I am also quite glad they did so.

I have a friend who lives in Southwest Pennsylvania who tells me it is incredibly cold over there.

Dbez1 - I am a combination of both, dedicated to getting better, and focusing initially on things that are nearby before branching out, bit by bit, to tackle new photographic challenges. Thanks so much. I appreciate your enthusiasm.

Dear Mr. Kravis: Most of my shots do not include people, primarily because people tend to be wary of photographers. So, I take the hint and don't photograph people unless they ask me to (which is extremely rare). Furthermore, most shots taken early in the morning are when most people are still asleep.

Thank you very much. :)
