Absolutely beautiful Randy. Great shot and treatment! Way to go my friend.

Thanks, Jim. Glad you enjoyed this. A much warmer time, something dearly needed here right now, lol.

Thanks for your visit, always much appreciated! Really enjoyed seeing you and Sylvia together in yesterday's shots, too!

Was you using h.d. r. genehp. thank you.

Good eye, and welcome to the forum! Yes, I did some single-shot HDR post processing with this to bring up the light on the houses and the beach, along with a touch of dodging as well. The sky was left alone, didn't need any help.

The homes were initially in deep shadow here, silhouettes, in essence. The HDR brought out just enough detail to give us a look at them. A great technique for some of those 'almost' shots.

Thanks for your visit, much appreciated!

...and that's what I just love about you, Randy!! Always willing to share either your beautiful photos, your knowledge or your SNOW!!!!! Thanks for that, as it's hitting us now! Glad you took some shots of your white mountains. I saw some pictures of Boston on line yesterday...... unbelievable!! You did get it much worse, so please stay safe and warm and no more frozen fingers to shutter button!!
:-D :-D :-D

Always happy to share what I have with you, particularly the snow, lol! Boston got it worse in one storm, we got it worse in another, so it pretty much has evened out. I'm only thirty miles or so south of the city, so not a lot of difference.

They're saying only 2-5 for us today, so not much worries for this one. Looks like you will get it much worse, tho, so stay safe and warm yourself. More of those violets and marbles wouldn't be amiss!

Great shot!

Thanks, Shadetree. Glad you enjoyed this one. Maine is a very pretty state, and a sunset on the beach just makes it nicer, no matter where you are!

Thanks for your visit and kind words, much appreciated!

Okay, not the end of everything, just the end of day and a pretty sunset.at the beach. If this were the end of everything, I don't think you'd be reading about it here.

Plenty of drama in this one. Nicely done.

Somebody's gotta win the Pulitzer for that end-of-the-world shot, lol. And after all, what else would we have to do?

Thanks for looking, Oldogfoto. Much appreciated!
