What is all the fuss about? This is in fact the section marked "Classifieds". Doesn't that mean you have something to sell and want the members to know about it? It doesn't seem like he is cheating anybody.

Just my humble opinion.

YOU"RE 100% right shouldnt be a big deal and yes anyone can and should make use of this section to help them sell unwanted items and give others on the sight a good chance to find something they are looking for! But lets keep everyone honest, we have a few reputable sellers on here and some service folks as well. Over the years we have had a few show up that are not really a part of the UHH and have no interest other than to sell something. BTW thats probably also fine but lets be honest about who we are and not use used car sales tactics.

I did miss read the date, thats my fault but I also went back and looked at a complete history of posts for the time as a member. I did not suggest not to buy I suggested " Buyer Be Ware" If thats a problem, it was probably needed to be said otherwise like my ex wife, who cares.

Honestly, while we have helped some folks form being conned over the years by being aware and watching, believe me who ever said I was not elected cop was also right and believe me it wont happen again.

Cuzinvin--
There's an old Latin saying, literally translated, means "Don't let the bastards grind you down." I bought a book from you a few months ago and was very pleased with our transaction.

That said, I'm, one of those guys who joined the forum and, on my first day, listed a surplus Nikon lens for sale. Man, did I get the crap slapped out of my by those who said, "Oh, look, a first-dayer who wants to sell something. You should stick around for awhile before trying to do that." My reply simply was, how long do I have to be here before I make my presence known and try to sell something? I joined the list because I thought it was a good place to both sell and buy photo items. I still do.

By the way, one of my critics has been a Hog member for a whole month!!! Not only that I sold my lens.

So, do your thing, sell your items, buy what you want and don't let the bastards grind you down..... You don't have to justify your motives and actions to anyone!

Appreciate you kind support. Learned a lot from this "Ugly" experience, and unfortunately most of it was negative.

After getting used to my new Fuji, i have been thinking of doing the same thing with my Nikon and lenses, and I have been here several years. Good luck.

Don't think you'll be disappointed. The Fuji lenses are exceptional, although I returned the 60mm macro. Hoping they come along with a 90 or 100 macro. Lens choices are slow in coming, but I'm optimistic that it'll be worth the wait. Hope you enjoy Fuji.

There are a handful of true pros affiliated w/ Fuji. They show a lot on their blogs: Zach Arias, Patrick LaRoque, Dan Bailey, tony Bridge, Ben Cherry, and Derek Clark.

Bill Fortney is coming out with a guide book ($9.95) in a couple of months.

My daughter in law is one of the pros that has gone completely over to Fuji. I have had minefor a bit now and have purchased the 10 24 as I do a lot of landscape. I am really enjoying the camera, now that I have worked my way through the learning curve.

Also add Bill Gekas to the list of pros who are using the Fuji. He is my favorite photographer at this time. I envy his technique.
