a while back there was a string about this lens. i said i was very happy with it and tried to post a pic. so i will try again. it is about 1/2 mile away. i knew immediately it was a really good shot. so i will try to post it. everytime i tried to post in the past, the pic did not translate to this forum the way i had it on my monitor or when printing with the epson 3880 printer. i'm sure it's my fault since i really don't understand the whole pixel thing.

At that distance, the atmosphere will have a lot to do with clarity and, to a lesser extent post process. - Your image look very NICE .

That is a really nice shot. I love the colors and it is very sharp. I also love the sky.

funny you mentioned that. the building , Abbot Hall is the main town(Marblehead, Ma.)office building and about a week before this shot extensive renovation just finished after almost a year and a half and the scaffolding had just been dismantled. i'll post a picture of it being renovated if i can find one. and thanks for all the positive feedback on the photo.

This photo looks great to me..Did you enlarge it for printing?..How big in inches?..Full frame or cropped sensor?..Curious what aperture this was shot at as well..All info should be in your original file metadata

this was just what i loaded from my card(i shoot Raw)into lr5 untouched and sent to my folder on desktop(guess it was converted to jpeg) 1/1000sec, f/10, iso 200, 329mm camera 5d mark lll
