Both are excellent. The feather color in the first one is so rich. The second one looks like the eagle is eyeing something, or someone, up for lunch! Thanks for sharing.

I appreciate your kind comment, Flyerace. I thank you.

These were taken about 3 weeks ago and are 2 different eagles taken on the same day at different locations. All shot at 600mm & hand held.

So regal and proud. Magnificent birds and you do well, never gets tiring! This is our national bird, isn't it? I mix up Bald Eagle with Golden Eagle. He certainly represents the nation well, and images like these lets one know why the Native Americans had such respect for them.

Thank you very much, CarlySue. Our national bird is the Bald Eagle which was a wise choice. The bird has a majestic and strong appearance. It was a Bald Eagle photo that I recently sent a copy to our Idaho State Senator who fortunately is on my Facebook and she lives here in Coeur d' Alene. I am hoping this will generate some publicity for me, but, that and a dollar won't buy me a cup of coffee. I've been close to that situation before but.....
See my Pastel Painting below. I used my middle name at that time.

That is awesome and inspiring, Regis! You truly captured her emotion and personality in her eyes! I had no idea of your talents but probably should have realized that you would. Photographic artists usually have those skills that are brought over to all of their compositions. She is beautiful. Is this displayed somewhere prominent?

The Pastel Painting was of a real 100% Navajo young woman using authentic jewelry.

Yes, a Judge bought this Pastel Painting about 20 years ago. I haven't had any feedback on it. Look below at another Pastel Painting I did using myself in the Painting.

A Pastel Painting of mine where I actually used myself when I was younger. The clothes and background are fantasy, but that's my face.
