Love those full frame sensors. Notice you are carrying a canon 50 mm as well as the sigma. Do you have a preference?

I had the Canon first ($100 lens, can't beat that). The sigma is sharper, however you could only tell if you're a pixel peeper like me ;) I do prefer the Sigma, but I could have just a well saved some dough and been happy with the Canon.

I'm a pixel peeper as well and as such went for the Sigma DG. Also was sold by the sales man that the signa demonstrated a tonality closer to film. I like mine a bunch. I've found the best resolution to be around f/9.0

Hand held ? with IS on ? ...... this lens will take TC's quite well ! Proper use of specialized interpolation software will help in your cropping endeavors also.

Yes, hand held with IS on. What is a TC? Also can you point me to such software?

TC= Tele-converter . One of the older softwares is "Genuine Fractals" - but it now has a new name and owners. There are some threads here on UHH that talk about this - I would do a search for "enlarging software" or "interpolation software" or "intelligent zoom" - use google too ! Sony has "Clear Image Zoom" version built into their cameras.
The 1,4X TC will give you 280mm f4 with the 70-200 which would be nice if you need that f stop over the Tammy 150-600's.
Thanks imagemeister! I thought about a Tele converter, but then decided on the Tammy instead. Still learning the Tammy. I love my 70-200 though. I want to pickup one of those refurbished TCs, but every time they're available, I miss the email notification by a few hours. By then they're all sold out.
