But he looks so innocent. Dug picks on poor old Rudy all the time. Dug was just waiting to go back on the porch. And there is much more snow back there now.

innocent- Ha- he picks on the oldest and continues the minute i am out of site. Some times he forgets to look to see where i am at, when attacking and one high pitched scream and he runs under the bed..
When i grab him from there - he knows its a time out coming for a good hour and into his cage he goes.

Great kitty shots, Mare. Sammy really turned out to be a looker! You caught both him and his outdoor visitor really well! Love them!

Thank you Randy,
They aren't as great as yours are, but i think everyone gets to see what rules the house here.
i sure hope the vistor is the one that had gone missing. What a wonderful surprise it would be for the new neighbors.

Thank you, i am hoping its the neighbors kitty and she can claim him and take him home.
We have had a lot of pet killing in the neighborhood and we all thought her kitty met the same fate as some of mine as well as the other neighbors. Even dogs have gone missing.
I hope its her cat- i really do.

Even if it is not her original cat, she could still adopt it if there are no tags or microchips. Better than her not having an animal to love and the cat not having a home. Win-win situation for both of them.

Beautiful shots of Sammy. You caught him just at the right time as if he was posing for the camera, but then again my TC use to pose for the camera. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful portraits of the cats.

We had only one cat that we let out. Once, it brought home a snake. And once it brought home a chipmunk, which ran into the baseboard heater. The only way to catch it was to let our cat Mindy get it. So we did, grabbed it, and let it go. When we moved to our present house, Mindy would go out for the night and sleep in the house during the day. Our dog Rosie would be out during the day and come into the house for the night.

For two summers, Mindy took a month of vacation. It was terrible! I didn't know what to tell the kids, who were pretty young. Eventually, she came home. She looked well-fed. We don't know if she went to DisneyWorld or stayed within a certain perimeter of the house. The second year, she had obviously been in a fight, and the vet had to do surgery on her ear. I said to my husband, "So, the cat goes on vacation, and we have to pay for it!!!" Now, we have only indoor cats.

I hope all goes well with this new cat. I'm glad to hear that you allow it to eat, and your cats will learn to tolerate. Such a pretty cat.

Thank you Edie,
i take care of feral kitties as well as my own house cats.
My house cats are not allowed out at all, so they are safe from the perils of out door living.

The ferals eat and sleep here on heated pads/ food and water is always available for them.. One more mouth is just another one in need.

I do hope its the neighbors kitty tho.
