It seems like TurboTax has been making it more difficult to do everything with their programs that are anything but the most expensive. I have used TT for years. You can find all of the forms, but it seems that you have to dig to find them now, and some of the automatic links to supporting forms aren't as robust as they were in the past.

I have been using Turbo Tax since it was Eagle software. They better be careful now there are at least two other tax software packages that perform as well and are cheaper.

Agreed - have had issues in the past few years that took ridiculously long to have resolved...this may be my last years using them. Have loved "ItsDeductible" for the ease of listing donated items.

This may be my last year using them. When this latest brouhaha developed toward the end of the year, I thought it would be my having to consider switching. You're right - they may be on the verge of pricing themselves out of business.

UPDATE: So today is the day I can e-file my return. FREE, they say - I paid for that. I was able to find all of the forms I needed on my TT Deluxe - BUT - when I tried to e-file my return, the program would not let me because I "had used forms that were not supported by the software" !!!! I would have to upgrade to TT "Home and Business" just to use a simple Schedule C with supporting documentation! So instead I now have to print out my return and send it by mail. I feel ripped off. My understanding is that the H&R Block software will import your previous year's info from Turbo Tax, so I will never use TT again. Judging from reviews on Amazon -averaging one star - they have lost a HUGE percentage of their customer base. How sad that they did this to us. I am the kind of customer that when I feel I have been treated well I will continue to support that business and remain loyal - and I have liked Turbo Tax ever since they were one of the first tax software programs - but they have abused my loyalty.
