Very very nice FrodoBaggins, beautiful bird. I would see them often in the winter in Naples, but 40 miles southeast, I have yet to see one

He certainly is iridescent. Just look at the colors in his wings! Beautiful capture, Frodo!

I ran across these for the first time a few years ago in the Anahuac National Refuge. They are stunning colors in the sun. After further research I believe this to be the white faced and you possibly have the glossy. The differences I have learned are very subtle.
