Great shot!

How did you get close enough to take it? In my yard, the birds are so skittish that I have trouble getting within sight of one.

Is this in your yard?

I would be very appreciative if you could post a picture of it also.

It is in my yard close to wetlands. The blind got demolished in high winds last night. We had a high move in last night and this morning we were looking at -1 deg. with very low windchill factors. All you need is a hunters blind. You have to let the birds get use to seeing you around until they are comfortable with you.

Thank you.

I understand that weather; we have been dealing with similar conditions.

Beautiful shot of a beautiful bird. We don't have many colorful birds in this part of the world sorry to say.
