What would one need to achieve this?

On that kind of budget and the picture style you posted, I suggest a set of speedlights (maybe Yongnuo) and a snoot with grid (maybe Gary Fong) with radio triggers. A complete set for your desired type of lighting is achievable for that price. The rest is in your studied approach to lighting setup.

I'm thinking my original question is no longer valid and I'm looking for a tutorial that better explains the technical end of attaching speedlights to tripods/stands, with various attachments ie: snoot, dish, umbrella etc. I want to make sure when I get the flash that I have the proper bracket(s) to add accessories?? Perhaps a shopping list when I get speedlights I will also need.... Thanks again.

Check out Youtube for Gary Fong tutorials. A world of simplistic means of lighting for many purposes. Lots of other tutorials on lighting on Youtube.

Thanks Joe! Been watching Lindsay Elder lighting 101 past two days! Learning tons! And deciding what I need. Lol. Gonna have to extend that budget.
