A far cry from being pocketable. The issue with the sl1 is that it uses regular sized DSLR lenses, not engineered smaller ones like m4/3 which perform better than the sl1. The only pocketable m4/3 camera would be the gm1 or gm5 neither of which would I recommend for the op's question.
