Nature, Adorama and B&H are exactly the same. For every bad experience you hear about one, there is one to mitigate the other.
I prefer Adorama because I support Adorama TV and would like to see it get even better(it's better than BH). That costs them money.
I have bought from both.
My last camera came from Cameta and I got $100 worth of free stuff! I will do that again, but they ship ground. Good luck.

I ordered my d3300 kit from Cameta back in October time frame. The kit arrived two days earlier than projected. I only encountered one problem, the spare battery would not take a charge. One phone call to customer support and the replacement battery arrived by end of the week. I'm a believer.

Have ordered many items from Adorama that were many $$$$ and no problems whatsoever. Very good company to do business with.

Have the Pixma 100--very satisfied with it. Go for it!

I have that printer as well and cannot say enough good things about it. Same for Adorama...one of the best.

I am thinking about ordering a camera on Adorama but thought there was a discussion on here about not ordering from them. Your input will help. It is on the canon 6d.
Thank you

I've ordered from them several times over many years. I consider them very reliable and good to do business with -- never had any trouble with them.

Be careful dealing with Adorama. My recent dealings dealt with a Leica lens. I was told it was new but upon receiving it, it lacked papers. I checked with Leica and the lens was registered with them two years earlier. Naturally, the lens went back to Adorama. They claimed it was a mistake, but I reality they new. It was a clear scam job. A few years earlier I traded in some equipment and got credit for a future purchase. When I tried to claim the credit later, Adorama didn't know anything about it and I had to take the fight to the BBB and my credit card company to resolve the matter. If you buy from them, make sure the item comes in a sealed box with all the proper papers.

This is the ONLY thing negative I have ever read about Adorama and I don't believe a word of it. It's just way too off base for a retailer of Adorama's well deserved reputation.

I pretty much exclusively use Adorama and B&H. Prices are usually the same and shipping is usually the same, which usually is free. I don't know enough to tell you whether one is better than the other, but I've never experienced problems with either.

As many have responded, B&H, KEH.com, and Adorama are the best! I agree 100%.

Nothing wrong with Adorama at all. I've ordered from them and B&H without a hitch. They even sit in the shadows and watch UHH for comments and then reply when somebody has a problem.

When I checked yesterday evening they had changed the price, it is $90. higher for the bundle I bought. It is still a good buy.

I would call them if you order and they will tell you everything you are receiving, or scroll down until you see the printer & paper included.

Hope this helps. I don't imagine it will last to long. I missed the last one at B&H and it did not have the lens, printer & paper. It was for the camera body and printer.

I was so sorry to read that this was your experience, and wanted to take this opportunity to clarify that it is unusual for any unit to come in a sealed box; I wasn't sure what you meant by 'papers' but if you mean a warranty card, all you need to claim against a warranty is your receipt.

With regard to the 'used' issue, I'd welcome the opportunity to look into why your funds were not paid when expected. Can you please email me: Helen@adorama.com
Please accept my apologies for the frustration caused and I look forward to hearing from you.

See what I mean about Adorama and B&H lurking in the shadows here and wanting to make sure you're totally satisfied? To me that's top notch and even over the top customer service.

I've ordere multiple items from Adorama in the past, but my most recent order - a photographer's vest - was the wrong size. I returned it for exchange to a smaller size - and never received the exchange. I didn't get a refund either.

That makes it tough to recommend Adorama!

My best guess is that your Adorama account was credited in error - instead of refunding / exchanging. That is the mist likely scenario. But if you can email me Helen@adorama.com with your order number, I can get to the bottom of it for you.
