What I can see here are mostly nikon shooters. Does it mean they are the one who want to share their expertise and also learn for those newbies?.Canon shooters may just be busy shooting and doesn't want to join the forum.

I thought with all the Nikon vs canon vs "???????"
It would be fun to chime in and let us know what camera you use.

This is not a thread for arguing about what is better or throwing stones! not what lens you use, just what Brand camera you use....{you don't even have to say what model camera it is, unless you want to}

2 Nikon's for me
1 Olympus P&S

Three canon FD film cameras, two Olympus omd em5's, one Lumix G3, G10 and one lumix Z40. When the Olympus omd em5 II comes out I may buy one. I don't use the film much the local processing places seem to like scratching film.

just got my first DSLR - my husband chose a Nikon for me for a gift. I'm a newbie with the SLR, but I'm loving it - but man is there a lot to learn.

I'm pressed to remember all of the command procedures for one bridge and one P&S of the same brand cameras. How in the world do you manage to remember what to do for that many cameras?

This is like asking what car you like the best--Ford or Chevy!
If we all agreed only one camera would be made and it would be painted black.
I keep track of all the cameras that I use by being sure that they are user friendly and then cheating by keeping the basic start up sheet for each camera in my camera cases. It helps, at times! Then, as I said I travel a lot and love the higher end point and shoots..I don't need the clutter and all of the equipment that people think they need. Let the camera do things for you and enjoy looking at what you want photos of.

And this has what to do with the OP which is a simple informal poll of what brand we use?
