I kind of like it and it's interesting, I would however liked it more without the filter effect and if there was more space in front of him...looks a bit cramped in front. Like an oil painting and ran out of room. On another note... very similar to an oil painting I did back when I was in school, although it was natural in color.

I like the picture. If i wanted to play around with it, I might move subject just a touch to the right to give little more room in front of him. I'm not for sure on the blue but it does look different. I curious how other shades or B&W would look. But i like your shot.

Why not red or purple? This could be a good picture but most of it is washed out.

Everyone's a critic. I kind of like it.
As far as I'm concerned, if it makes people think, and talk about it, you were successful.
I think your title should be "Why so blue?" That takes care of the "blue haters club" :-)
