This picture was shot with a Nikon D800. I am comfortable getting a 16x20 for print on canvas. I am not a pro, but I do have regular requests for prints. If this was your print, would you keep image as is, or crop out the majority of the rocks at the bottom of the image... thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I'm prejudiced because I love rocks and boulders. I'd crop off the top if I had to crop to come up with that size (which I think you'll have to do). Why not print a full-frame?

I would not crop that image, in my opinion the image is already as tight as you want to get it and cropping it would detract from the overall image. The foreground adds a great deal of interest in my opinion and the upper part of the image adds context and helps in positioning the fall in the image.

The image shown is a 2x3 (16x24) format and looks great the way it is. If it were me I would print a 16x24 and not worry about cropping. If you print 16x20 then either the top and/or bottom will be cropped.

The customer has a frame they want for the image, but, I like the idea of doing a gallery wrap for her... maybe, I'll show her a few examples. Thank you!

No crop. The rocks are a necessary part of the overall image.

No. I wouldn't change it a bit. But aas above print the whole scene and mask the borders as necessary

I agree to leave it all. I would print 16 x 24 also, but if you need a 16 x 20 then go to Photoshop and change the size to 16 x 20. Without people or circles, no one will know. If you resend original click on "store original" and we can adjust that. David

16 x 20
16 x 20...
