Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate the compliments :) Actually, it was Monday on the Higgen's Point side at about 2:45. The 400 is new, much easier for me to hand hold than the big Sigma but I still want to get a different Tripod and head and learn to use it. I do like this lens... I agree, the eagles are really thinning out. I haven't been brave enough to go over on the HWY 97 side since the rock slide!

Thanks Straight Shooter! Actually it is a fish, the eagle is gripping it so it is almost folded in half with the eye facing out - I like it that you can see the fish eye :)

My Gosh I bet you were so stoked when you seen that shot in your viewfinder. The closest I ever got to an eagle catching a fish was with my om2 film camera my avatar shows the last shot.
