I'm not from Breat Britan, I have been to Birmingham though on the way to my Grandfather and Mothers hometowns near the West Midlands. Just how many are muslims in Birmingham... ? as a percentage...? I won't comment on the BNP article as it's a well known racist rag.

The article in the Telegraph blog is a sad story, there are area's where white people could get harassed but I'm afraid it's the same anywhere you have large cities.

This we can agree on. I will point out that a rag is a rag because you generally don't agree with their point of view, but other points of view are often valid. I ignore the slant, and look at the facts. I don;t have any knowledge of any of those links, they lined up when I searched for info.. and I was surprised that perhaps the FOX guy wasn't a totally blithering idiot- though I didn't hear his report. .. just what the knee jerk reaction was by those who hate FOX... for their general point of opposing view. .. that call them liars even if they say the sky is blue.

Every large city has no-go zones that we all take for granted as a normal way of life. Places you simply don't go after dark. Over here it will be because of ethnic or economic reasons. I glow in the dark, so I am easy to pick out, so I stay out and have never had a problem. In NYC I have felt safe every where I have gone, but that was pre-Bloomberg. I don't have any problem with other religions... I am Episcopal, but have stood up for a Catholic best man, he in mine, attended
bat mitzvah's and was welcomed... I work in a Jewish medical facility, that used to be completely Kosher... We have a significant number of Muslim Bosnians working here...at a Jewish home! They bring in stuff to share at Christmas! Get it?? They have become Americans.

But they are a highly educated and hard working group that likes it here because its safe and they are war weary. we can relate to each other, they don't even look different. But the radical middle eastern sort I don't know...... It is indeed sad because I don't think anybody knows what to do about this. I imagine it will get worse, then take on a life of its own.

I grew up near Dewsbury and still have friends that live there... Dewsbury, a few years ago, was named as one of the towns where that Mooslimes wished to put under complete Sharia ... can you dispute that? I know it didn't happen.....yet!
