Thanks, Dave. I live in the country and am always on the look for old, attractive barns.

Very nice shots if i were you i would use your old GE X5 more often.

Thanks, eurobird. This was my first time out with the old X5, and I may try it again. The problem with it is that its lens often creates quite a bit of vertical distortion. I suppose that problem could be fixed in pp, but I'm not that sophisticated yet. I'm going to use it for a carry camera in my truck for a while to see what I think long-term.

These are very nice photos, jaymatt. I'm an "old barn" nut, so I particularly like the red barn shot.

Thanks, Cotondog. I like the old barns, too.

"Old Red Barn" was taken last week with an old GE X5 that my wife found in a drawer, corroded and forgotten. With a little cleanup--it works.

"End of Harvest" was shot in December with my Canon SL1--the last of my corn crop being shelled.

Nice color in these.

Very nice shots. Since I'm an old farm boy (retired), They are always of interest to me. No offense though not been a fan of John Deere for a long time. When I retired I was very happy with my switch to Massey Ferguson and now only have a sub-compact tractor, a Massey GC2600.

If one lives in my part of Indiana, it's not easy to find a machine that isn't painted green--green has a corner on the market here. When I farmed myself, I used Allis-Chalmers tractors (still have a D-17) and a Massy combine.

Thanks. I often drive the back roads looking for barns I haven't yet photographed.
