One of my better Bald Eagle shots and a crop of this photo.

Great Shot, but you have always had great photos with your Tamron. I am still learning about my Tamron lens, but it has no where near the clarity. I am using it on a T3i.

Regis, beautiful shot.....and thank you for sharing. We are in such a big beautiful and diverse country, and I hope to someday get to your part of it.

Ditto and well said. I've been to southern Idaho but I understand northern Idaho is quite different. In the meantime, keep the pictures coming. :-)

Both are just great shots. I have yet to see a bald eagle where I live on the west coast. Plenty of hawks but no eagles. The detail is fabulous. I have not used my 150-600mm lens much yet but it looks as though is does a fine job. Thanks for sharing.

It is beautiful. I lived in Utah for 12 years, so I kind of miss the Rockies raised my family there, but took a lot of photos, but with a different view of them. Mostly documenting events, but find I do have some good shots from the 70s.

I think most states have their little gems of beauty. I live in Coeur d' Alene, north Idaho which is a tourist area showing the large lakes, mountains, forests and lots of wildlife.

Regis, your shots are absolutely beautiful. I like them both but i really like the cropped version.

Thank you, Sharon. It's funny how some people like the cropped photo over the other shot and vice-versa. That's why I included both photos.
