Yesterday was a foggy day with some sunshine poking through. The eagle made a dramatic fish catch then lost it.
Distance was about 125-150 feet at 600mm.

Good images (as usual). Do you shoot A priority?

Thank you, THOSMITH. I shoot in Program mode with my Canon 6D which allows the shutter and aperture to fluctuate.

Not your usual tack sharp shots, but still very good.

Thank you, ebbote. Your right. These are not my sharpest photos, but they tell a story.

You might want to give A priority a try. At ISO 1600 with aperture at about f7 you will get very high shutter speed which will allow tack sharp hand holds. Not that your photos are not exceptional.
I was put onto A priority years ago by Mike Hagen, professional guide and author, and have used it exclusively for wildlife and sports ever since.

I will give it some thought, THOSMITH. I will not be in my preferred program mode once I switch over to A priority, which will mess up my program settings.
