Looking in the classifieds here. Someone asked for a shutter count. My question is two fold.
1) How do you get a shutter count?
2) How do you get the count (max) for a particular camera?

Take a picture and upload it to this site, http://www.camerashuttercount.com/.
Manufacturer should have some spec for max shutter count or maybe look at dpreviews.com. Good luck!

1)Google 'shutter count' and your specific camera model.
There are online tools/sites that will extract that information from a digital image file for you.

2) Do you mean "What's the expected shutter life for my camera"????
Consumer models are typically engineered for about 100K.
Pro level bodies are 150K+.
There is a database that can give some real world numbers.

Just put in your specific model and see what's been reported.

Depends on camera make and if using Mac or PC.
