Just getting back into photography and trying to get comfortable in the digital SLR camera world. Looking forward to learning from the veterans
Welcome to the family!
The toughest thing for me after film SLR's was remembering which wheel, button or menu to access for changes in ISO, shutter speed, aperture :)
I agree with Linda from Maine. After some thirty years of film camera work and switching to digital, I still can't get used to the ISO business. The S and A along with the M settings are all OK but I keep forgetting about the ISO. Glad there is an "automatic" for that. Hope you pick up on the lingo and information available here on UHH and have a lot of fun. I know I do. Post some pictures and welcome.

Welcome to the Force...You have entered an addictive land of truths, myths, fantasies, ghosts, goblins and good old fashioned advice (whether you want it or not)...
Seriously though - the folks here have lots of good advice and a couple of days of experience and are willing share what they can - don't hesitate to ask detailed questions, in fact, the more details, the more accurate the answer ;)
A couple of links to help you
navigate the forum and a couple of
resources to hopefully answer your questions or guide you in your quest...
Looking forward to seeing some more photos.

Ditto. Especially the last line of Shellback's comments.

Welcome Ptobomber. In your sample I would crop to put you 1/3 rd from the left and have the fence lead into you. I could show you if you don't have software. Good luck. David
