Agree. There are a number of great editors.
Still, the best RAW file processor remains Adobe Camera RAW (ACR). Photoshop Elements (PSE) is worth the price just to get ACR.
Good to see the Gimp made the list. I'm a long-time Gimp user (mainly, because it used to be all there was on Linux, and has just gotten better over the years).

Thanks for posting. I use piasca alot. Mainly because its very easy to use. I have paintshop x3 that i have used too. I keep looking at alernatives so when the day comes and i can replace my current computer i will know what i want to use.
These posts prompted me to look around out of curiosity. While I was looking I came upon Capture One Pro 8 which looks really interesting but complicated. Has any one had any experience with this application?
I am a LR5 & CS6 user.
