Ridiculous post, they don't even say where the wedding will take place. I think it's a joke!
What an insult even for an amateur would you work just for a meal? I don't think so cheap skate.
I think it is a joke or its someone writing a paper for his Economics class. "Working For Food," Are we there yet?.

Mickey Dees in Calgary pays more than what they are offering.
Calgary is one of the more expensive places to live in Canada.....
Better than a wedding photographer, I have a selfie stick, that clicks the shutter by bluetooth. Maybe they can stop at Containers to Go and get one. Stick your phone into it and fire away. Every picture taken from an exact 6 feet. Whats not to like?

>>>Hi there We are looking for a wedding photographer for our wedding that is taking place either mid August or mid September 2015. We cannot afford to pay thousands of dollars, and therefore are looking for a photographer that is trying to build his or her wedding portfolio. We do not require any prints just the pictures on file. As for payment, we can only afford your dinner at our wedding and a small thank you payment. Please do not reply if you are an established wedding photographer or going to expect outragous amounts of money. Visits: 92>>>
Depending on responses on UHH, you might try to contact a camera club near you. That way if successful, there wouldn't be the issue of travel expenses, which obviously you're in no condition to pay, but what likely would be a downside to any would be photographer who might be interested otherwise.

So I read the whole thread to my wife. She got up and said she was making breakfast "for wedding pictures." But I can one-up this whole matter. You see, next Saturday I'm performing a wedding (I'm a clergyman) "for food." It happens that the bride is my granddaughter. Getting there from New York to Wisconsin ain't cheap nor is the rent for motel and car. But worth every penny.

Believe it or not, I know a group of photographers who do just that. They will take wedding photos, birthday photos, etc for anyone who cannot afford to pay for a professional. They do no pp. They simply put all the photos on a disc and give them to the individual. I was at one wedding reception where they had two photographers taking pictures. When they were through, they downloaded all shots to a cd and handed it to the bride. I spoke to one of them and he said they enjoyed "giving something back".

I do this once a year. I shoot a wedding for free. Gets me a key to the Pearly Gates for later on and the B&G are very thankful. Helps you to sleep at night. I cannot see where this one is.
My guess would be potluck dinner at this rate. LOL

Canadian is very easy to learn. Just remember to end each sentence with EH, Eh!

I joined a "For Sale" Facebook group in my area and it's crazy what some people post on it. A while back someone made a posting looking for a car, saying they were desperate and wanting to find a late model car that needs no work, very dependable, low mileage, and cheap. Preferably someone will donate it as I'm unemployed."
I just zoomed in to 400% and see it is in Calgary. Too bad. I was up in Toronto and Ottawa last year for a few weeks working. Could have swung over. My client would have pay'd the in/out as it would have been cheaper than flying down south here back and forth every week for a month.
I had a fight, oops argument, here on this forum once about me being Catholic/Christian. My views are more agnostic now and I was kicked to the ground about me not being a proper Catholic/Christian with going to church on Sunday and hating everyone Monday through Saturday. Well maybe that is so, but the 22 years of that upbringing and being an alter boy taught me that you help others. I am not overly surprised at some of the comments here. Humanity really sucks. In April of 2000, I flat lined in the ER because of loss of blood, No kidding, I went into the light. So I guess how I am running my life has an expected out come. For the few of you, I will look down on you when my day comes and ask if you want any pictures taken for free, cause I will be happy and have all the time in the world. Shit, listen to me, I could be a preacher...........NAH. Take care.
