I always enjoy your eagle images. This one is exceptional. The composition, colors, and fog all seemed to cooperate for you. Oh and of course the eagle! I almost forgot to mention the subject. Duh!

Thank you, MadMikeOne. Most of the photo elements, that you mention, come together in this photo. The eagle with those elements make for a good composition. Not great, but good. Thank you.

I took this photo a few days ago on a foggy morning although the fog started to lift an hour later.
Distance was 43 yards at 400mm.
You can see the fog in the background.

Very good!
I tried to get a shot of a pair yesterday when it was also foggy. I could not do it. None were keepers :(
I admire your good work.

BEAUTIFUL as always. I'll bet the Audubon Society could use your photos. Keep up the fantastic shooting. Happy New Year. Robin

Thank you, Elliem. I am lucky to live within 11 miles of these Eagles, so I have an advantage to be able to get some good close shots of these magnificent birds during their migration which they will soon leave for greener pastures.

Thank you, Robin. I haven't entered any photo contests nor am I associated with any lens companies nor do I have any desire to belong to a special association, except for the wonderful UHH. At my age, I just want to enjoy my photography without any encumbrances. This way there are no politics and I tell it like it is. However, if anybody wants to throw money at me, I won't duck. I'm truly grateful for my many friends and followers which always puts a smile on my face, who can ask for anything more?

Thank you, Michael. Fog can be great or be a curse. I always try to make lemonade out of lemons.
