I haven't seen a lot of photos posted from the A77II, so thought I'd give it a shot after having the camera for several weeks.

I've read some pretty good things about your Sony and it is nice to see what it can do. The detail is really very crisp in your pics - particularly the Tufted Titmouse. So the question - is it the camera or the photographer? :)

Good photos!

Thank you dugole. At this point, I would have to say it is the camera. I'm just a photographer wannabe. I think that this camera can do some amazing things in more capable hands, but I'm learning and having fun. :)

Nice to see the pictures from this camera- sharp and crisp with good color.

I've been thinking of going this direction too.

Did/do you have the A77? Is the A7711 a significant improvement?

Thank you suntouched. No, I didn't have the A77, just a Canon SX50. From the reviews I have read, it is a worthwhile upgrade though. Good luck with your choice.

I have the Sony a 6000 presently plus Nikon D 610. I am really enjoying the smaller profile of the Sony especially when hiking and biking.
Do you have a favorite lens for the Sony A7711?

Right now I have the kit lenses 16-50 and 55-300. Since I like birding and nature shooting, I am using the 55-300 until I can afford a longer lens.

Thank you Seemefly50. I used the kit lens 55-300mm. I would like a better and longer lens, but will have to wait on that for a while.
