Not good at night shots? I like them very good don't be so hard on yourself keep shooting at night and improve.

Nice shots. It was dry here in West Yorkshire till about seven this evening and then very light fine drizzle turning into fine snow which in the last four hours has settled in and covered everything to about two inches deep and still falling. It is three degrees C in the greenhouse so it is probably two or three degrees lower outside.
No photos tonight as we are surrounded by street lights but I hope to get a couple tomorrow in the daylight with the dog playing in it.

Thanks Fat Engineer, I found it difficult with the streetlights outside my house but the snow isn't forecast to stay long and I wanted a shot. x

We've got brilliant sunshine now viscountdriver and the snow is slowly going. I keep hearing a flump as it lands in the garden!! x

Good shot Carly. The BBC news is full of your weather at present and you are welcome to it. 22°C here. Shorts and bare feet are the order of the day :-P :-P

Carly, your first picture is great, composition to me is great. The second you do have to download to see the detail, it shows the snow. As previous comments keep practicing night shots to become proficient with the settings.

Thanks Homer60, I should have taken more time but I was in my pjs, wet and cold, and wanted to make sure I got a shot. There's a lesson to be learned there though. x
