Does anyone use Black Rapid sling strap with M Plate Pro in order to have quick access to tripod without having to take strap off. Santa brought me a Black Rapid strap but I use my tripod alot. Need advice!

I don't see the M plate as being necessary. I use a Black Rapid strap connected to one of the strap lugs on the side of the camera instead of the bottom, and leave a quick release plate on the bottom of the camera.
