For Sale: Tamron 70-200 2.8 Di VC USD used three times. Purchased 10/23/14. Have receipt, box, uv filter on since purchase. Reason for selling: too HEAVY for a grandma. Paid 1,604.99 asking 1,400.00 plus shipping. For canon.

Have you tried using a monopod when using the 70-200? I have a Tamron 70-200 for my Alpha 850 that is always on a monopod. Partly because the lens is fairly heavy at about 4.5 pounds and partly because my shutter speeds are seldom above 1/200 because I don't like upping the ISO over 400.
BTW. It's nice to see some Tarheels here on the Hog. I was born & raised in Winston-Salem and my last duty station in the Air Force was Seymour Johnson in Goldsboro. You might want to correct the spelling of your town.

No, it is just to much trouble to bother with should have never bought it. Got a 6d also, mistake.

Asking way too much. New price is $1499 plus $100 rebate. I don't think the warranty is transferable also. I just bought mine 2 weeks ago.. It is a heavy one.

Unfortunately because you cannot transfer the warranty, is is now considered in like new used condition. They go for about $1000 on e-bay

If you bought from an authorized dealer than you have a warranty. But since it is non-transferrable any buyer will not.

That would be the used price without warranty. Sites like KEH and B & H will have a 90-180 day warranty but cost $200-300 more.
