I been shooting weddings for years i find the best all round lens is a 28-75 2.8 i use a tamron xr di and a good flash brachet which i use is a custom brackets the camera rotates in the brachet so the flash all was stays in the center so you will not get shadow your flash is mounted high so you don't red eye.and a good light meter i use a sekonic L-508 and shout manual .
Meter the light in the front of the church and let the TTL take care of the rest .I've doing this for years and never had a bad picture
also. 2 bodies extra batteries contracts a must.

I'd add to the other good suggestions above, liability insurance. Your homeowners insurance doesn't cover you, and for those that think an umbrella policy does, ask your agent again. If you are doing this as a business, the umbrella policy more than likely won't cover you. (unless you get an umbrella policy for the business.
