I have a poem that I have framed 12 X 4 and I would like to add 2 or 3 silhouettes to it. They would have to be approx. 2inch X 2 inch. Is it possible to take a profile pic and use a program to make it a silhouette? Thanks for anything you can share and my email is jfann33843@aol.com if it is easier to 'talk' about this.

There are many that will help, but we need to the picture. Post here and click on "store original". The size is real easy. You shoud post a copy of the whole thing. David

You can use just about any program out there for that, but why not just shoot a couple of silhouettes for it?

Oh it's been so long.
I was doing combining with pictures and words back in the early side of the 1990's.
I was writing in Microsoft word. If I remember correctly what I did was to copy and paste the picture to the word document. Then bring the words to the front.
I can't remember if it was a "right click" operation, or a menu item like formatting.
Effectively the picture became the background, and the verse was on top. And it lead me into my earliest days of digital photography.
Darn, it's been a couple of decades now, Janice. I didn't realize I had lost any of my marbles. But I guess I have.
David, I hope you will still be able to help me. I just got the pics of my grandchildrens profile. I also included a pic of the poem framed. I would like to include a profile for my daughter but not able to get a pic just now.
Please don't dwell on this- just something quick and easy is fine.
Thanks-Janice
this is the last 2 pics. I did send 2 of each child---you pick
trying to send last 2 again

I will have to look at the poem picture. Does not look sharp to me. I may not be able to do any more. Will let you know. David
Dave- thanks so much for your help. This is just what I wanted. But I do need help printing them. When I print as they are it is to big. How can I make it smaller and then print it?

You need some software program. I love Photoshop Elements. Less than $100 and it can do most anything. I could try to resize if you tell me the exact dimentions. Sometimes you still need software to print because the printer wants to do 8 1/2 x 11 or 5 x 7 and not your dirmentions. Let me know. David
If you could try a 2in x2in but again don't take a lot of time.
I can always shrink them down on a copier

Here is 2 x 2. I don't know if your printer will print it 2 x 2? David
