Welcome to the new Wedding Photography section. The rules in our section will be very simple.
1. Follow all UHH forum rules.
2. Please refrain from attacking contributors with an interest in getting started. This section is here to encourage and help.
3. Ask permission before you post your own photos on someone else's post. If you want to post photos, create a new topic please.
4. Don't download and/or edit photos without specific permission from original poster.
I'm really looking forward to this section, and hope you will all help it to grow and become a really great tool for people just getting started, or old farts like me who need to keep fresh ideas coming in.

Glad you started this section, can't wait to start learning from all the experienced wedding photographers here.
Great idea! Love it! Will contribute whenever possible!
Greetings to all from Texas. I am really glad to see this new section. I am an old man (61) and we shoot smaller weddings and second weddings at a discounted rate. My prices start at $385 for 1 hour and go up to $1,495. I hope I can pick up a tip or two here, I use Canon 7D 18-135 580 FLash, with a bare bulb modifer. My wife is my second shooter and man is she good.
Thanks again, ya'l

Well, Philipschmitten, you're still a kid compared to my 72 years! I too, like so many others, just love photography! Here's a list of some of the gear I take along for a wedding shoot.
Two Nikon D7000's, one mounted with a Nikon 70-200, 2.8, the other with a Tamron 17-50, 2.8, along with an SB600 and SB700 flash units, plus other miscellaneous gear. I do not (as of yet) have a 2nd shooter, but how nice that would be in some situations!
Just subscribed! Always looking to learn and improve.
Just curious . . . which will come first . . . the questions or the answers?
The Wedding Photography Section has been up for some time now but still nothing has been entered to show any answers or ideas. Is everyone in the forum a teacher and in no need of tips or ideas or "how to's" ?
Just curious . . .

I think If we had a critique section I would submit shots so I could learn what to correct.
