I'm caught up in all three of your photos. Thinking they are beautiful!

All are really good shots, but as for #2: the selective focus was a GREAT idea! Best of the three.

I like them all, but especially #2. Self-taught ? great job ... what do you shoot with, and what lens did you use ?
The more I look at #3 the more I think how well done it is....nicely saturated...the colors, the placement of the butterfly and the other clumps of color, the diagonals created by the butterfly and the branch in the middle....just a very nicely done image.

me too. I like 1 as it is the flower supports the subject which is the bf and the rest is mood.
2 i like the fact that the bird becomes a mystery - question is though was this an accident or can you replicate it?
3 boring - boring cuz i see so many like this
Interesting crop in #1 and #2, they look like 4x6 prints. I would have concentrated more on the flower in #1 with a tighter shot on it which would have given it better focus. Contrary to everyone else (go figure) #2 does nothing for me and I'll leave it at that. #3 is my personal favorite despite this type of photo being done 1000 times when it's composition, color and light are right on I still love to look at them. Great shooting on all 3 and my opinions are just that.........
I like your thinking being a little more "out of the box on #2" as you composed this. You don"t seem afraid to challenge yourself photographically and certainly not afraid to post this image! Cudo's to you on both counts.
I love number two the best actually....I get what you were doing. Nice job.

The shots are great, but the composition would be better if the butterflies were placed more to the other side of the frame so they are facing into the frame rather than out of it. Number one should be moved to the left in the frame and number three to the lower right. the bird photo is out of focus, but the same composition applies. It should be flying into the frame.
