I saw another price drop on full frame camera's. I wish I was in the market for one (or won the lottery)

If you are not in the market for one, what do you care if the price goes down?

Keep waiting ... sometime the prices may trend down to where your wallet is.

Usually a price drop occurs right after I make a purchase.

LOL

Yes, my credit card is the kiss of death to camera's and lens as well. Sure to have a new model or a price drop about the same time I unwrap the package.

I'm waiting for a big drop in the price of the D750. Not gonna happen very soon, though. You have to decide if you want a camera, or if you are willing to wait and wait and wait, hoping the price will go lower. I've had a D610 for over a year. If I had waited till now, I could have gotten it cheaper, but then I wouldn't have had the camera all this time.

I was the same with the D800. Saw the first one in UK at the photo show, and ordered it. Paid the increased price, when it went up by £200, and just after I bought it, it went down by £500. Can't say I regret it though, because as Jerry says, I had the use of the camera, when I wanted it. Not so sure about the 810 though. Guess I'll wait to see what the next REAL changes are rather than just a bit of titivation.

I got my 5D III around Christmas last year from B & H. The price had come down to $3349.00 with a 24 to 105L lens. This is the time of year for deals.

Reminds me of the time I spent a whole years saving for the newest cassette recorder only to get it home for one week and find out it was replaced and outmoded.
