Wow, I am glad I apparently broke the mold on this one. I loathe women (and some men) who are not prepared. When the total button is hit, I want to swipe my card and get out of the store. My coupons are handed to the checker when I first walk up. My pet peeve, though, is when all is said and done and the checker informs me that she/he forgot to scan the coupons therefore I have to go to customer service to get them taken care of.

 The funniest one I heard was, the cashier picked up the divider that one uses to separate orders, examined it thoroughly and asked the customer, "This doesn't have a bar-code, do you remember how much it costs?"

Yes (in a manner of speaking), and yes, I have one sister but cannot vouch for her because she doesn't live close so I do not get to observe her habits.
I love breaking the mold. I was raised in a man's world so to speak, so I am still a tomboy at heart and I understand how many men act and think. :D :D  (and I HATE shopping, except for camera gear, musical instruments, motorcycles and boats)

Glad I am not the only one who sees these happening. I am always amazed at people waiting to get their money out or card out. And the change. God knows where they keep it but they never seem to have it in one place. They will dig forever for a penny.

I call this "The law of the wrong line". I usually find this line thinking it looks like the shortest line but isn't, much to my dismay.
