Yeah, its much more fun when you dont have to stay up all night to keep em from dying. Beautiful winter here. I think you have a lot more winter than us.

Have seen it hundreds of times, and still have to stop and marvel sometimes. Of course its easier to stop & marvel on a nice day.

It's good seeing the happy things of life instead of all the bad things taking place on the news now a days. I was raised on a farm in Mo. Thanks for sharing.

I stay up all night with the mares. When they start to "nest", I wake hubs up and he pulls them. Saves wear & tear on both mare & foal.

Hats off to you & Hubs. I had a mare for a couple of years. Was there to watch colts born two times. Both times I prayed that I wouldnt have to assist. Have pulled a lot of calves, but a colt would be different. Do you dare put a ob chain on their legs?
