Great shot and composition. I love old barns and TX has lots of them. I don't recognize the crop. Is it millet?

Thanks much Lobo!!! it's corn that has popped up again, the main harvest was about 6 weeks prier to this shot, they will sometimes bail it for feed or hay if they get it before the freeze.

I worked dairy farms until I was 13. I also remember the MUD. At least you hoped it was MOSTLY mud. I was poor, hungry, tired and just Not Too Bright at that time BUT I learned respect, Responsibility and work ethics that helped shape me into a not-so-bad adult. I hear you and can see your memories but I still remember making even the coldest and hottest days FUN! Nice pics are always welcomed here. Thanks

HOT Texas, Kempner has a nice small park to chwck out. I graduated from Belton (1982). I know about the San Saba park, just haven't been there yet to take a look. Check out Mother Neff State Park; it's reopened to the public.

I'm about ten years older than you are, I was at Mother Neff State Park not long ago, they had half of it closed, but will go there again sometimes, Thanks Warren!!!
