Just wondering how many Americans will be watching the Grey Cup. Even more interested in how many know what the Grey Cup is. Hint: oldest professional trophy in the world 102 years today!

Not so sure about the oldest. Americas Cup started in 1851.

You live in a beautiful place. I did a ski safari a few years back on the "Powder Highway" It was beautiful even though the lack of snow made the skiing mediocre...
It was the year the Olympics were held at Whistler.

I had trouble reading your entry. My eyes are still teared up. My TiCats made a valiant effort!

Google worlds oldest trophy. The Grey Cup isn't even in the top 10.

I didn't get to see this years final. Once again American football ruled the airwaves here. I can't remember the last time we had some Canadian football on tv.

Watched it on Dish, cannot remember the channel. Found it interesting to switch channels to NFL now and then & compare. CFL game is much faster. I enjoy both and glad to see there is a difference in rules. I'm still trying to come to grips with the entire backfield being in motion prior to the snap.

Lived in MN during the Bud Grant / Viking era. He would comment on his time in the CFL and Grey Cup experience (won in '58, '59, '61, '62) as a coach and player every now and then.

Bill it is a whole different game, the last 3 minutes carry on like a NBA game, down 21 points you can still win. The players also don't make $10 million a year and you can get into the stadium for $30 bucks, Canadian!!
Thanks Bill
