Hello Hedgehoggers, been watching Ugly for some time but never had the confidence to post anything. I am 75 and not computer savvy so don't know if I did it correctly. However, since the photo has been seen by some of you, here is the history of it. Taken in the village of Wormhill in the Peak District in Derbyshire I spotted 'Woody' while returning home from taking photos of several Well Dressings.

I'm John, and I'm 66. Personally I really liked your photo for the reasons I stated in my earlier response. Would you be willing to share the camera/lens and the exposure info? I'm a retired electrician and lifelong amateur trying to delve into the world of the pros. Some of us here are curious as to the details of how others capture their images.

Thank you for the info. One of the things on my "bucket list" is to visit England, Scotland and Ireland. My family roots are there and I have always loved photos of the English countryside.
