That is a beautiful picture. Really liked the clouds and the sunset reflection in the water. Bad time for the battery to die, but you still managed to get that one shot.

love the golden light time of day, beautiful shot, always keep a extra set of batteries, you never know when you might need them

This is why you might think about setting up certain times to charge up your batteries depending on how mush you shoot. Like for me I set every Monday to charge two batteries for each of my two cameras. I had that same thing happen to me so that's why I do it this way now so if one goes dead I have the other one ready to use. Just a suggestion. and this photo you took is a beauty. Great shot. Wish I had more opportunities to catch nice sunsets at the beach. Most of my trips over to the coast result in either no clouds and non-photogenic sunset, or too many clouds where you can't see the sun.

Spikes, I like the branch overhead leading to a distanced mottled clouded blue sky, then to a brash yellow burst of sunset and pathway over the sea to a tawny, rugged landscape where you stand. Top level composition and timing!

I just have to say thanks for all the kind words. You make me feel good about my work. I typically have another battery with me but just spaced it this time. Again thanks and I hope all had a great Thanksgiving
