Where did you take the picture, I would just like to know please? This past weekend I was over in the Gig Harbor area and we had two small one and one very large one flying and my wife could not get the camera out in time to take the pictures. I was driving. and again that was a great picture that you took.

Stephen, If you look closely at the bottom right corner where it says 'Bald Eagles' pointing to the place where I take my photos of the Eagles. Remember, the Eagles won't arrive there until December (prime time will be the middle of the month when you will see about 150-200 Eagles a day at Higgins Point).

Exit off I-90 at #15-Sherman Ave. about 2 miles past I-90 & US-95 interchange. Head south to the Coeur d' Alene Lake road which veers off to the left for about 4 miles to the dead-end. This is Higgins Point. Walk about 1/2 mile to the east towards a hill (Higgins Point). You should see some Eagles along the way in the pine trees ahead and you might see some Eagles at different rest areas before you get there.

Thank you very much, Erv. I appreciate your great reply. I will see if I can get a better shot with the Tamron 150-600mm lens next month of the bald Eagles.

Wow Regis! He's gorgeous.

I used the 500mm setting on my Sigma 50-500mm lens for this photo of a Bald Eagle. The distance was about 100 feet under gray skies.
