Thanks, does Kelly ever "shut up?" Cammy seldom does. But he's a real character, a real lover-bird. My wife named him Cammy, she said it's short for camouflage. So it has kind of stuck.

Not very often, LOL! He rules the house, if you don't believe me, ask him! He used to have a vocabulary of about 100 words but as he gets older he does more squawking than talking, unless I have company then he has to take part in the conversation. They get to hear what a good bird he is, what are they doing and don't squawk in his ear ROFL! And if I'm eating, he wants a bite and is very persistent until he gets a bite (I keep crackers on hand for those time when he doesn't need what I'm eating). If he's on my shoulder, I have to be careful if I'm drinking something because he will grab the glass and pull on it - he loves iced tea! (It's decaf). I've had him since he was just being weaned, he'll be 18 in January.

I sell pet supplies at bird shows. I am going to try my hand at pet photography. I have mostly novice equipment, I'm about to purchase a speedlight (I have studio lights and a Sunpak 3000 flash I use to trigger the studio lights).

I'm looking at used SB800 speedlights (D3200 camera). Any thoughts, suggestions?

I am including one of my shots. Using the Sunpak (bounce)

What lens do you currently use? A nice fast lens might be more useful in freezing the action.

Thanks. I believe my lenses are fast enough. Nikon 50 mm f1.8, Sigma 105 mm f2.8, Nikon 18-55 mm f3.5 -5.6 DX (rarely used). If motion is an issue I open aperture and / or up the ISO.
