thanks bob, its not mine either, got too much tied up in this ir camera, im going too get it rite....

So let me ask the question joe, because I honestly don't know. Does one have to change out the processor, or disable something to get IR? Or is it a mode that you can set, then get out of when you want to shoot regular color photographs>

took one of my cameras, had a 590nm filter installed, no more regular photo.....its a bear trying too get the rite combination..
here's a little better sample trying diff. program

Thanks for the info ...... I've seen some photos where the trees leaves look like big billowing white clouds. It's mildly interesting to me, but not enough so that I would disable one of my camera bodies to achieve.

the camera was a nex c3 if i sold camera alone, about 150.00 bucks conversion was 250.00

sometime i just don't have no sense...
oh you can buy a screw on lens filter [ir] if you didnt wanna go permanment, i hit mich, lotto for 500 thats the only reason i did
it.....ttyl

Have you looked at any of the plug ins from lifepixel.com? They have some free presets that work in several pp applications.
And using the screw on filters require really long exposures where any movement of the subject is horrible. The converted camera doesn't need the long exposure and captures the image like a regular camera.
Do you do a preset color balance prior to shooting?
Did you have your lens calibrated for the ir?
It takes time but keep trying you'l get it!

In was easier with film, buy IR film and green filters and shoot away. No conversion.
