Sorry to be so late responding..but a topic close to my heart. Here are a selection from among my favorite archives. I have tried to pick things I haven't posted before. Also found my self wanting to share a number of things I have artistically (I hope:) enhanced via computer.

JoeV your photos of flowers are stunning. I especially like the pink roses and the purple and white irises. Absolutely gorgeous color.

Well I say simple but flowers seem to be my nemesis. I can never get them close enough or sharp enough. I don't own a Macro lens. So extreme closeups are pretty much
out of the question for me. Plus I keep trying to shoot them handheld instead of with a tripod. It's not like I don't know better ... maybe I'm just lazy LOL.
So paint them, photograph them, photoshop them, grab them from your archives. Flowers,flowers and more flowers.

Thanks Matj.. actually I DID start the mural on the wall, but got frustrating in my ability to do what I really wanted so my hubby hired a young man from the local art college and he finished it for us.. it runs around the counter top and stove in our kitchen and he added an Az. sunset over the stove.... I love it....

Totally amazing photos rocktroll! I especially like the 2nd to the last ~ they look like they're sparkling! Were there small waterdrops all over the petals when you took that photo? I know you did a macro shot for that one, since I saw the overall shot just above it. Great job! :thumbup:

Thanks, JacLee, for the nice comment. It's nice to see another California gal on UHH! Hope we get another chance at flowers down the line because I have tons more to share.
