As others here have responded, $130 is not a sufficient budget to obtain all that you want, which explains why I've waited so long for my $1200 Guardsman Red Porsche 911. Pick up any photography magazine, such as Popular Photography, Shutterbug, or Outdoor Photography (to name just a few) and spend time doing a little homework! UHH is not a forum for folks who just want to dip their pinky toe into the stream of this great hobby. Walgreens sells birthday snapshot cameras for under $8, confine yourself to one of those.
As others here have responded, $130 is not a suffi... (show quote)

Very "sexist" response with an abrasive attitude. The poster is just asking for help...not demeaning comments that humiliate and degrade. Please be respectful and courteous to all. Thank You.

Been there and found a great one. The Nikon Coolpix AW100. Waterproof, good to 7 deg. winter, everything that you are looking for, and takes 'great' pictures. I know you will like it.

What do any of you photo "experts" suggest for an inexpensive smaller camera that would fit in my purse. I would like a 3" screen and 16-20 megapixels for a clearer picture. Also memory card, rechargeable batteries, and USB cord for my computer. Zoom is not top priority on my list as this would basically be used for snap shots within 20 feet or so??? I am looking for the best deal for my money--suggestions???? Thank you! (inexpensive to me would be under $130)

Canon SX160 IS, 16MP, 16X optical zoom, full auto with with too many scene modes, full manual, AV, TV, P, image stabilzer and of course video.
